Courchevel ski hotels and holiday packages
So tell me about it...
Courchevel has the reputation for being the world's best ski resort. Immaculate pistes and stunning scenery, superbly interlinked skiing on the vast 3 Valleys ski area, are some of its features. Courchevel was one of the first purpose built ski resorts in France, disposing of many ski in/ski out accommodation. Courchevel is not just one resort but five, Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1550, Courchevel Le Praz 1300 and La Tania. They all share the same Courchevel skiing area and are an important part of the 3 Valleys (Trois Vallees), connecting Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens. They are all different in character; from the sophisticated chic of Courchevel 1850 to the charming and traditional village atmosphere of Le Praz. As a favourite of the well-heeled of Europe, Courchevel 1850 boasts a wide selection of fine hotels, designer boutiques, top class restaurants and nightlife. The quality of skiing in Courchevel is memorable. With over 470 snow cannons and 22 piste bashers, the pistes are always immaculately groomed and snow is perhaps more reliable than the rest of the 3 Valleys, as most of the slopes are North facing. The lift system is modern, fast and efficient. Ski schools offer classes in 8 languages for every standard and discipline.

Now you've got the taste, head for the Ugly Sisters - an infamous trio of couloirs, racing down from the Saulire summit.
Snowboarders
There is a large dedicated 'snow park' under the Plantrey chair as well as numerous off-piste challenges throughout Courchevel. The area near the Biollay chairlift is especially popular, where the ridge known as 'The Lip' is a favourite spot for getting big air. Baby pipe, canyons, dunes, and hoops available for snowboarding.
Courchevel has an excellent ski school and its wide range of beginners’ slopes make it an ideal place to learn. The ski school’s Village des Enfants is just below the Forum Centre and has a Nursery Kindergarten for children as young as 18 months.
