Other connected satellites such as Montchavin and Champagny-en-Vanoise are original alpine farming hamlets that retain a traditional charm as well as excellent tourist infrastructures.

There is some fantastic off piste skiing, snowboarding and telemarking to be found if the services of a qualified mountain guide are used.
